ABOUT US
The Spring Youth League launched in the spring of 2022. The age groups for the Spring Youth League are U14, U16 and U18. Participating clubs include Polar Bears Field Hockey Club, Sea to Sky Field Hockey Club, Vancouver Hawks Field Hockey Club, West Vancouver Field hockey Club and India Club.
The Spring Youth league offers strong competition between clubs and game days do not conflict with spring league game days. The Spring Youth League runs from April to June.
The Spring Youth League is part of Field Hockey Canada’s Next Gen and Tab pathways.
The Youth League was founded in 2017 by Vancouver Hawks FHC, The Polar Bears, Sea to Sky FHC and the Burnaby Bears FHC. The league’s main object is to offer year round field hockey competition to the athletes of the Vancouver Lower Mainland.
The Youth League focus is on teaching both technical as tactical skills for U14-U18 age groups.
